To provide core culinary utility, certain preferences are stored exclusively on your device using Android local storage (Room Database / SharedPreferences):

• Recipe Configurations: Custom ingredient proportions, crowd sizes, and regional style choices.
• Kitchen Preferences: Preferred measurement systems (Metric grams/kg, Imperial lbs/oz, or Kitchen cups).
• Cooking Timer States: Saved Dum and parboil countdown timer settings.

Note: This data remains 100% on your device and is never uploaded to any remote server. Uninstalling the app removes this local data.

Biryani Master: Recipe Scaler is a general-audience cooking utility tool targeted to adults and cooking enthusiasts aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in the European Union). If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately, and we will take appropriate measures to delete it.

Any network requests made by the application (such as culinary assistance prompts) are transmitted strictly over industry-standard HTTPS/TLS encryption to ensure security in transit.

8. Your Rights (GDPR & CCPA/CPRA)

Because we do not store, retain, or link personal data to individuals on external servers, there is no remote account database to access, modify, or erase. You maintain full autonomy over your data:

• You can clear all saved preferences and recipes at any time via Android Settings > Apps > Biryani Master > Clear Storage / Clear Cache.
• Uninstalling the app permanently erases all locally persisted data from your device.
